Just recently my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee exceeded 200,000 miles. Grand Cherokee reaching 200000 miles
It was a monumental day, which I had been anticipating. I have been the sole owner of this 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 for 13 years, driving on average about 15,000 miles a year. The vehicle continues to drive well and generates a lot of power from the high power V8 HO engine with the J engine code. AMSOIL synthetic oil has been used in the vehicle engine, helping with oil burn off, which Grand Cherokees can be notorious for. The added lubrication and engine protection has allowed for cooling operating temperatures, further protecting the engine. I have used both the 10W-30 and the 5W-30 Signature Series Synthetic Motor Oils. The 10W-30 is more commonly used throughout the year the 5W-30 is for the winter time when temperatures are below 32°F.   Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004 V8

Another product is the Signature Series Multi-Vehicle ATF Transmission Fluid and Wix Transmission Filter both added to the Jeep Grand Cherokee transmission. Grand Cherokee transmissions are known for replacement and this one continues to run well with the added protection of AMSOIL Synthetic Transmission Fluid.

One of my favorite products is the AMSOIL Power Steering Fluid meeting Chrysler Specifications. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is very picky when it comes to the type of power steering fluid used. The steering system is complex with the power steering pump with low and high pressure hoses. The system is known to have problems on the Jeep Grand Cherokee and use of AMSOIL Power Steering Fluid will give your power steering system extra protection preventing failure.

AMSOIL Products and Filters give the extra protection and performance to keep my Jeep Grand Cherokee operating at peak performance. When I need additional parts for repair I visit There selection of full vehicle parts and choices out surpasses any I have seen. The Rock Auto pricing on parts helped save me additional money from buying parts from auto parts stores and dealers. I simply buy the parts I need for repairs and bring them to my mechanic, same as I do for my AMSOIL motor oil and filters. The savings has been substantial and the mechanic shop does not mind, as they make money on the labor not the mark up of parts. Please keep these tips and AMSOIL Products in mind to extend the life of your vehicle.

Thanks for stopping by!

AMSOIL Synthetic Oil and Lubricant Dealer

My name is Kevin Eyre, Independent AMSOIL Dealer, T-1 Certified since 2015. Graduating from the University of Arizona, in Agricultural Technology Management, with an emphasis in Turfgrass Management, gave me an interest in equipment maintenance and lubrication. The turfgrass industry is one that relies heavily on its machines, and if they are not properly maintained, repairs and downtime can be costly to turf managers. Looking back I was always intrigued with the maintenance and lubrication of all kinds of equipment, pondering over what brands of oil are the best, and with so many to choose from, I would commonly ask myself if there were performance benefits from one brand to the next. Growing up around heavy equipment, my family owning and operating a bus company, working on several golf courses, and owning a small delivery service, I quickly became to realize the importance of using high quality lubricants. Equipment downtime is the last thing you want in the middle of your busy season. Personally putting AMSOIL synthetic lubricants to the test has been very helpful in witnessing the benefits of AMSOIL products, to include cooler operating temperatures, burning less oil, and overall increased protection under extreme working conditions.
